Topic Synopsis:

For many women diagnosed with gynaecological cancers, surviving cancer is the first priority. However, for those who still hope to have children in the future, preserving fertility can be equally important. With more women delaying childbearing and an increasing number of cancers diagnosed during the reproductive years, fertility preservation has evolved from a rare consideration to an integral component of patient-centred cancer care.

Advances in cancer treatment have made it possible for some women with cervical, ovarian, and endometrial cancers to receive effective treatment while maintaining their chance of becoming mothers. In this talk we will explore what are the various fertility-sparing treatment is possible today for women afflicted with gynaecological cancers.
