A small waterproof sensor is embedded within the smart swimwear that measures UV rays, so you can spend quality time outdoors with peace of mind – your smart swimwear will alert you to reapply your sunblock lotion or when you should move indoors when it’s time to do so.

 

Tracking Your UV Exposure in Real Time

Some of these sensors have the capability to send data to a connected mobile app to inform users how much UV exposure they had throughout the day. The data gathered by the sensor is then transmitted to the mobile app where it is configured based on the user’s skin profile and turned into a format that is easily understandable by the user.

Customised Skin Profile For Better Protection
